Riders sponsored by Equine Aloeride®

Equine Aloeride® sponsors Paralympic Dressage rider Bert SheffieldAt Equine Aloeride® we are delighted to sponsor Roberta Sheffield (Bert) who is a Para-Equestrian Dressage rider.

Read some of her feedback: "I have now had Whoop on the regime of supplementation we worked out for him, Aloeride®, Collagen, MSM, for about ten days. It took a while to wean him off the skullcap. When I rode him yesterday, he was amazing. As a baby he used to give the most supple, soft feeling but he has gradually lost some of that as he’s got older. I had put that down to the wear and tear on his joints and him getting more tone/tension in his muscles to cope with the greater power he now creates. Well, yesterday he was so loose and fluent through his body, I could feel the pulse from each hoof pushing off rippling all the way through his back into the rein contact. It felt like all the energy in his body was working in harmony rather than usually 10% of it going the wrong way and causing a traffic jam!"

"Aloeride® is definitely having a great benefit for both the horses, Darcy is less spotty* and Whoop is moving like a superstar!" (*Bert's veterinary surgeon had diagnosed combination of chronic acne and susceptibility to midge bites)

Bert has suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for the last 15 years. She is classified with the FEI as having a Grade 4 disability. Bert has been successfully competing her own Wonderboy (Whoopi) in both Paralympic level dressage and Elementary level able-bodied competitions. Recent training with the BEF Regional Foundation Squads and the world-renowned Conrad Schumacher has set her and Whoopi up for an even better season in 2011, hopefully qualifying for the National Championships at Hickstead and the KBIS Championships at the Dressage Deluxe National Championships. She is aiming to compete in an International competition in the coming year.
