Videos of St. Patrick’s Coast Ride and Home International 2016

It was my great pleasure to shoot these videos of the St. Patrick’s Coast Ride hosting Home International 2016 and we hope you’ll like and share them. Aloeride was the Title Sponsor for Home International 2015 and 2016. If all goes well, we’ll be there in 2017 to wield the videocamera and produce another video. Aloeride proudly sponsored Home International and Celtic Challenge 2016 where teams of six riders from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland competed for the much sought after trophies. Congratulations to Wales on winning the Celtic Challenge and to Scotland on the Home International success! Congratulations also to Iain Paterson for winning a few months worth of our Aloeride aloe vera! For results please visit the websites of ILDRA, Endurance GB or Scottish Endurance.

Dundrum end of Tyrella beach St. Patrick’s Coast Ride and Home International 2016

This video clip features Bib numbers 15, 18 and 27; Bib numbers 11, 14, 20 and 24; Bib numbers 13 and 16; Bib number 19 on the Dundrum end of Tyrella beach. Thank you for the kind waves of acknowledgement and the wonderful company. If any of the below video clips delight, then please share this webpage and do leave some feedback right at the bottom. Many thanks!

Dundrum end of Tyrella beach St. Patrick’s Coast Ride and Home International 2016

This video clip features Bib numbers 7 and 8. Followed by Bib numbers 21, 22 and 23. Did this trio recognise themselves at 0:42 in this video, probably as I gave the game away by writing this… Helen McFarland on J St Jake coming out of the shrubbery at 0:11, thanks for the shout and the wave, always appreciated. Not just for the 160K does your horse need strong, health hooves.

A Sally Toye Special at the Dundrum end of Tyrella beach

This video clip features Bib numbers 6 and 1. The hottest jazz band of ’em all (Woody Herman) playing Mo-lasses makes this six minute long shot tolerable (distance between horses and video camera >1,000 yards!). Most probably the only person fully watching this clip will be Sally Toye, I know… Still, interesting to see Mia’s stride length and frequency and how light footed this lovely pony is. Have you by chance seen Sally’s feedback on wormcount? You may find this interesting too!

Dundrum end of Tyrella beach St. Patrick’s Coast Ride and Home International 2016

This video clip features Bib numbers 25 and 26 silently passing us by. At 0:25 a recklesssly placed bit of seaweed unsettled the ride for bib 25. Wobbles in these extreme zoom shots are because my tripod isn’t heavy enough to deal with the wind. Talking of which, hindgut fermentation, have you read up about digestive support? Feeding a healthily inhospitable environment is our approach.

So here’s the final stretch of Tyrella beach on the counterclockwise day, glorious cantering beach and I hope that this video clip does it justice. Not just to Endurance riding but also to Ireland. If you have been watching these videos then clearly you love Endurance Riding and, should you have family, friends or acquaintances who are interested in Endurance, let them have a look at these videos to give them a taste for it. In order of appearance: Bib number 11, 7 and 8, 19 and 20, 2 3 and 23, 21 and 22, 4, 6 and 1, 127 and 128. That’s all folks! A special thanks to Mrs Simone Beach of Ballydugan House who looked after me more splendidly than any bed and breakfast has done before. Thank you all for the waves, the thumbs up and your interest in Aloeride.
