What is Aloeride
Aloeride is a unique, Soil Association certified organic aloe vera feed supplement that delivers a very wide, natural (in-ratio) spectrum of nutrients that your Thoroughbreds cannot get even from specialist feeds. Robustly supporting digestion doesn’t just makes all the difference to the microbiome, both improved nutrient intake and uptake make a sensible, positive contribution to gestation and nursing. Sires and mares receiving optimal nutrition breeds healthier foals. Aloeride is NOPS negative (HFL Newmarket) and does not contain synthetic molecules. Aloeride is palatable even to digestive fuss pots.
How does Aloeride help
Better fed, comfortable Mares are more likely to have a trouble-free pregnancy, are more likely to have an uncomplicated delivery and are more likely to produce a healthier foal thanks to more nutrients passing to the foal in utero. Better fed mares make more nutritious milk and it stands to reason that better fed foals have the best start in life. With its own, proven broad spectrum of nutrients and by helping nutrients in your regular feed mix be absorbed better, Aloeride encourages nutritional abundance.
A Mare’s period of anoestrus can be shortened by longer hours of daylight (pineal gland’s gonadotropin-releasing hormone stimulates synthesis/secretion of gonadotropins i.e. FSH and LH) but stabling, using rugs to keep the mare warm, and a balanced very nutritious diet also help shorten it. Aloeride not only helps directly with an abundance of nutrients, it helps indirectly via the gut-brain axis. This works, as you know, via Tryptophan metabolism affecting Melatonin and Serotonin levels and thus Norepinephrine levels. Changes in host-microbe interactions in the digestive tract influence ongoing neural activity in stress-responsive brain areas. With Aloeride your mare may stay calmer which is useful prior and during the whole process of breeding. As you know, daylight bulbs in stables or individual blue light masks may trick hormones but they don’t provide any nutrient platform to a shifting hormone panel.
Bacteria in the male reproductive system influence reproductive function and health of the male and result in developmental origins of adult health and disease (DOHaD) effects in his offspring. The unique bacterial composition of a Sire’s Seminal Fluid Microbiome (SFM) is influenced according to functional ESR1 genes. But data strongly support the finding that the seminal fluid harbours a unique microbiome relative to that present in the faecal samples (some 50% of the seminal fluid microbiome overlaps with the faecal microbiome, 50% is totally unique to SFM). Dysbiosis in the faecal microbiome induces systemic effects. By hugely supporting digestive health and function, Aloeride indirectly helps the Sire’s seminal fluid microbiome.
Pre-sales conditioning makes enormous financial sense. Beyond bloodlines/training/competition experience/age, the hammer price goes up when your horse looks fabulous and displays terrific presence. A common finding in young horses on Aloeride is how well they fill out. Fulfilling their genetic potential of lean body mass (muscular definition) whilst our broad spectrum of inorganic minerals supports strong bone matrix.
Injury and disease in the young thoroughbred horse has clear associations with subsequent performance. As a Thoroughbred Owner & Breeder you know that 69% of foals have at least one veterinary problem during their early years: 50% are musculoskeletal injuries or disease, 21% fractures, 17% respiratory system. Prevention is King in equine wellbeing as well as in vet bills [Source: Conformational deformities, degenerative joint disease including arthritis and osteochondrosis, joint sepsis and bone cysts. Data: University of Glasgow, 2010 thesis by Julia Yates RCVS].
Almost 50% of foals do not reach flat race training in the UK [Wilsher et al., 2006]. Of course not every foal has what it takes, but within that 50% there are horses that would deliver if only they’d gotten help with digestion or with nutrient levels. Aloeride changed the fortune for quite a few horses which proved financially advantageous for the owners. The Shipper option (36 cartons/order) is dedicated to Stud Farms and Racing Yards, it feeds the Thoroughbreds a proven better aloe vera and and it save the large operations thousands of Pounds a year.
