A large percentage of competition horses suffer from a compromised digestive tract. In many cases, Aloeride offers sustainable help beyond or instead of antacids. The additional benefit is an increased intake and uptake of nutrients. Aloeride sachets are easy to feed to competing horses travelling to events. A feed review that goes back to basics often is time well spent.
Hoof and Feet Health
Hooves respond incredibly favourable to Aloeride and much quicker than to Biotin. Even the Thoroughbred and Connemara, notorious for their hoof challenges, can grow good hooves. Good aloe in the right dosage supports the pancreas which can be a great help to laminitic horses and hindgut acidosis.
Accelerated Healing and Recovery
Fast repair of compromised epithelial tissue is what aloe vera does best. Professor Derek Knottenbelt leads the way in wounds and laceration: strictest hygiene, optimum immobilisation and optimum nutrition. The wide spectrum of nutrients unique to Aloeride aloe vera and our dosage makes it perfect for the task in hand be this injury, trauma or post-operative.
Increased uptake of nutrients in feed plus Aloeride’s own nutrients often result in a significant improvement in lean muscle mass. Condition during winter box rest is better maintained which surprises many. In competition where power and endurance is vital, many feed rooms have Aloeride in their nutritional strategy. Aloe vera is not a prohibited substance under current FEI and BHA rules.
Behaviour and Focus
If a horse doesn’t feel right, it won’t perform or behave right. Nowadays we know about the gut microbiome and its direct relationship with the brain. Making the former feel better makes the latter stop holding back. One simple step towards helping equine behaviour patterns.
Coat and Skin Health
Exceptional coat shine is a constant feedback from owners with horses on Aloeride. It reflects the nutritional status and internal functioning of the horse. Robust coat and skin health also enables a horse to cope better with airborne pests.
Meaningful Dosage, Proven Better Quality
Aloeride is organically grown, is processed as a world-renowned authority on aloe vera deemed best, is produced by a pharmaceutical clinical trial company, is dosed properly for equine body weight, is pure and free from additives, is proven better in independent laboratory tests, is made affordable. Thoroughbred Owner Breeder
This is another advantage of Aloeride that didn’t fit on the infograhic. Bacteria in the male reproductive system influence reproductive function and health of the male and result in developmental origins of adult health and disease (DOHaD) effects in his offspring. The unique bacterial composition of a Sire’s Seminal Fluid Microbiome (SFM) is influenced according to functional ESR1 genes. Data strongly support the finding that the seminal fluid harbours a unique microbiome relative to that present in the faecal samples (some 50% of the seminal fluid microbiome overlaps with the faecal microbiome, 50% is totally unique to SFM). Dysbiosis in the faecal microbiome induces systemic effects. By hugely supporting digestive health and function, Aloeride indirectly helps the Sire’s seminal fluid microbiome. See more in the Thoroughbred Owner Breeder page.
Simplicity of feeding and dosage
For most horses you will sprinkle the content of 1 sachet on the slightly wet feed once a day. Mix it in a bit, that’s all. It doesn’t matter whether that is morning or evening feed. Our powder is fine and light, so it is common sense not to sprinkle it when there is a blow through your stables. See FAQs.

Hi, do you recommend using a vitamin and mineral supplement alongside Aloeride?
Hello Emma, I would not have thought that you would need one. If you have good grazing, feed appropriate to work, age and breed then Aloeride 1 sachet/day makes man-made supplements unnecessary. Some nutritionists use symptom-questionnaires to find outr what particular nutrient(s) a human (!) might be deficient in (method flaw is that a hypochondiac filling in such form would seem to be deficient in just about everything). My first question to you would be, what symptoms are you trying to address with our horse? Blueprint for thought is, is any deficiency due to intake, due to uptake, due to wastage (e.g. the second diagram in https://www.aloeride.com/horses/the-problem-of-parasites/)? Please email me with details via the Contact page, kind regards, Han.
