Aloeride Aloe Vera About Us: We are a family business in Leicestershire that makes the only Soil Association Certified Organic aloe vera for horses and people. We live by healthy family values which is why, all along the path of making our aloe vera food and feed supplement, we don’t compromise on a single thing. This makes Aloeride exceptional amidst the mountain of products that have aloe vera on their label.
Han van de Braak BSc LicAc MCSP MBAcC (Retd.) : “A significant necessity arose within our family and, from my clinical perspective, no aloe vera on the market at the time was fit for purpose (liquid aloe was spat out by our three-year-old daughter, purity and additives were trouble, laboratory tests done on available aloe products were depressing). Thus, in 2002, I consulted the world-authority on aloe vera, Consultant Gastroenterologist Dr Ivan E Danhof MD PhD on a quest to make my own aloe vera product to ultimate standards possible. The processing method used for Aloeride is co-designed by Dr Danhof. If he deems this the best way to do it, then, in my view, who is qualified to disagree? A British pharmaceutical clinical trial company ensures top quality control for a 100% natural, pure product. Heartened by results at home, then by results domestic and abroad, Aloeride was trademarked in 2004.”
Han van de Braak is a retired Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist, Registered Acupuncturist and Naturopath who has a special interest in the biochemistry and physiology of nutrition. In clinic since July 1981, his last NHS appointment was Superintendent at Northampton General Hospital (NGH) Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Out-Patients Department. He was the first NHG clinician to provide osteopathic manipulations. At NGH he also was seconded to the Pain Clinic. He started his private Practice in 1986 to escape the clinical limitations the NHS imposed at that time. It grew to 5,600 patients being registered at time of retirement. His clinical perspective is what underpins this website.
Attention to absolutely every detail makes sure that Aloeride 100% complies with Dr Danhof’s definition of the best aloe (he is universally recognised as the world’s foremost expert on aloe vera). A bicycling accident and reconstructive surgery in 2009 created development time for Aloeride for horses, so Research & Development went on a gallop. For your horse, we use precisely the same, exemplary quality control as we do for you. No half measures. We strive to make our proven best (and palatable) aloe vera as affordable as possible. Aloeride is a proudly British product, made by an MHRA, VMD and FDA accredited pharmaceutical clinical trial company under the auspices of Han for whom only the best will do.
Our website gives you straightforward product information based on objective measurements (independently measured, no marketing flag waving), thorough professional advice, and the best aloe vera product at the best value for money even before you take our many Loyalty Discounts or Worldwide Freepost into account. Between 2005 and 2008 Santé Franglais Ltd. was ISO 9001:2000 certified. It confirmed our operation and administration to be meticulous which is how we continue to operate. ISO 9001:2000 just was too early in the day for the size of the company. We remain fully committed to the exemplary quality of manufacture of products as well as to excellent customer service. Finally, what does our name Santé Franglais mean? Santé is the French word for health while Franglais refers to the amusing hybridisation of the English and French language. Sahib is an Anglophile whilst Memsahib is a Francophile… Aloeride was named after an immunomodulating molecule in aloe vera that was discovered in 2004, the name turned out to be serendipitous for our Aloe Vera for Horses.
